Do we need PowerDMS for this package?
No. This path is for departments that need usable policy delivered simply, without that platform.
Do we have to pursue accreditation?
No. You can take the package for usable policy whether or not you are working toward TLEA accreditation.
What if we’re pursuing TLEA accreditation?
That’s a different engagement. Agencies on that path typically use PowerDMS, and it does not include the TAS policy portal. Talk with Scott if that is your situation.
Does TAS award TLEA accreditation?
No. Assessors do. TAS builds policy packages and supports agencies; accreditation decisions belong to the assessors.
